PHILADELPHIA – No. 11/12 Texas Football running back CJ Baxter, wide receiver Johntay Cook II, linebacker Anthony Hill Jr. and defensive back Malik Muhammad have been named to the watch list for the Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year Award, the Maxwell Football Club announced on Wednesday. Presented annually to the most outstanding freshman in college football, a total of 37 candidates were recognized on the preseason list.
The Longhorns' four candidates were the most of any program in the nation followed by Alabama and Oklahoma with three players each.
