AUSTIN, Texas — Four University of Texas student-athletes are recipients of the ninth annual Dr. Gerald Lage Academic Achievement Award, the Big 12 Conference's highest academic honor. Senior Chelsea Crovetti from Women's Tennis, junior Alison Gibson from Women's Swimming and Diving, Men's Tennis senior Johnny Goodwin and Soccer redshirt sophomore Tecora Turner earned the prestigious accolade.
In order to be eligible for the award, student-athletes must have lettered at least once in their career while maintaining residence at their institution for at least one academic year.
