Four Longhorns advance to finals at U.S. Olympic Diving Trials

INDIANAPOLIS – Former Longhorns Troy Dumais and Cory Bowersox, UT rising senior Mark Anderson and rising junior Murphy Bromberg advanced to the finals of their respective events Saturday evening on day one of the 2016 U.S. Olympic Diving Trials.

Dumais, the only U.S. diver to compete in four Olympic Games, joined former Stanford diver Kristian Ipsen to place second in the men's synchronized three-meter semifinals with 815.01 points. Dumais and Ipsen won bronze in the same event at the 2012 London Olympics.

UT rising senior Mark Anderson teamed with former Stanford diver Dwight Dumais of Longhorn Aquatics to qualify third with 743.
