The Miami Dolphins may have gotten a "steal" in the 7th round of the 2025 NFL Draft with Quinn Ewers falling into their laps. He's been doing everything right for Mike McDaniel and his offensive staff throughout the past three months.
Though nagging injuries in 2024 hampered his ability to do some more impressive things, Ewers was highly regarded for his overall toughness, mentality, and ability to handle pressure both on and off the field.
Chris Grier discussed how Steve Sarkisian helped convince the Dolphins to select Ewers on day three shortly after the NFL Draft concluded:
"We’ve talked to Coach Sarkisian about him and, you know, Sark really likes and was high and was talking about him playing through the injuries this year, which affected his play a little bit,” Grier said.
