The Texas football program is one that essentially every college football fan had some opinion about growing up. Texas can be a polarizing blue blood program that generates love and hate from general college football fans alike. The same can ring true for other blue blood programs like the Oklahoma Sooners, Alabama Crimson Tide, Michigan Wolverines, USC Trojans, Ohio State Buckeyes, etc.
This idea of college football fans, namely or rival programs like the Sooners and Texas A&M Aggies (among others), have this hatred growing up for the Longhorns rings true with one particular former Florida Gators quarterback.
