Former Euless Trinity center Myles Turner gives back to Indianapolis' homeless in a big way

Professional athletes giving back to their communities is nothing new. It happens all the time.

It's just that the good that these stars do - serving Thanksgiving dinners, visiting ailing children in hospitals, providing presents at Christmas - gets lost amid the negative stories that often dominate the sports world.

Former Euless Trinity and University of Texas standout Myles Turner, now a 6-11 center for the Indiana Pacers, is no different than other charitable stars in this sense.

And yet, he is.

Turner and his family have been helping the homeless since he was a child, growing up in Bedford, Texas.
