AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Football's Cory Redding (1999-2002) was announced as part of the Cotton Bowl Hall of Fame's Class of 2020, which is set to be enshrined in the spring. Redding is the 12th Longhorn to earn a spot in the Cotton Bowl Hall of Fame.
Redding, a native of Houston, Texas, was a two-time All-American, two-time first-team All-Big 12 selection and three-year starter at defensive end during his career on the Forty Acres. He logged 57 career tackles for loss, the fourth-most in UT history. His 22 sacks are tied for 12th. As a senior in 2002, Redding posted 76 tackles, including 24 tackles for loss (No.
