AUSTIN, Texas – Kickoff for Texas Football's Oct. 1 game versus West Virginia is set for6:30 p.m. CT, the Big 12 Conference announced Saturday. The game will air on FS1 from Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.
Texas will face off with West Virginia for the 12th time in program history and seventh time in Austin. The Longhorns are 5-6 against Mountaineers all-time, and 2-4 when the teams meet at DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium. West Virginia is the only current member of the Big 12 in which Texas does not have a winning record.
The Longhorns have won two of the last three games, but fell to the Mountaineers in last year's game, 31-23, in Morgantown.
