AUSTIN, Texas – The University of Texas Football program is ranked No. 10 in the preseason Associated Press Top 25, which was released on Monday. It is Texas' first top-10 ranking in the preseason AP Top 25 since 2010. UT was also slotted at No. 10 in the Amway Coaches Poll earlier this month, marking the first time that the Longhorns have been ranked in the top 10 of both national polls to start the season since 2010.
Texas has now been ranked in the preseason AP Top 25 in three-straight seasons, the first time the Horns have achieved that feat since bookending a 12-year run in 2010.
