AUSTIN, Texas – Preseason preparations are officially underway for Texas Football as the Longhorns kicked off fall camp on Friday morning. The Horns will spend the first two weeks of preseason drills at UT's Wright Whitaker Sports Complex before returning to the familiar confines of Frank Denius Fields when game preparation begins for the opener against Louisiana Tech.
"We went to Whitaker Fields for some of our preseason practices to change things up last year and really liked how that worked out," head coach Tom Herman said after Friday's practice. "So this year, we decided to do the first few weeks out there.
