Football adds Barron, Black to 2020 signing class

AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Football added DB Jahdae Barron of Connally High School in Pflugerville, Texas, and WR Tarik Black, a graduate transfer from Michigan, to its 2020 signing class on Monday. Barron becomes the 19th Texan to sign with the Longhorns in this recruiting cycle, while Black is the first graduate transfer to join the program this offseason.

Barron was a two-time all-district honoree (2018-19) at Connally. He has been rated as the No. 127 player nationally, and the No. 20 prospect overall in the state of Texas in this year's class by 247Sports.

"Jahdae is a highly-regarded prospect and talented young man who is a great addition to our 2020 signing class," Texas head coach Tom Herman said.
