Enge finishes sixth in 50m breaststroke at World Aquatics Championships

DOHA, Qatar – A trio of former and future Longhorns competed in event finals on the final day of competition at the World Aquatics Championships inside the Aspire Dome on Sunday. Future Longhorn Piper Enge finished sixth in the women's 50-meter breaststroke, while former Longhorns Carson Foster and David Johnston placed in the top-five of the men's 400-meter medley.

Swimming for the United States, Enge posted a 50m breast time of 30.69 for the sixth-place result. The 17-year-old from Mercer Island, Wash. reached the final after recording a career-best 30.53 during the semifinals.

Foster and Johnston both represented the United States in the 400m medley final with Foster taking fourth in 4:12.
