Baxter was injured on the first play of the game against the Miners on Saturday, and when he was limping off the field, everybody feared the worst.
He had just been cleared to take off his knee brace a month ago after missing the entire 2024 season with a torn LCL and PCL that he suffered in practice earlier in the year. Luckily, his ability to walk off the field under his own power was a good sight in week 3, but he immediately went into the medical tent once he made it to the sideline.
