4-star DT Corey Wells from Petal HS (Petal, MS) committed to Texas back in June, but that hasn't stopped him from taking visits to other schools since then. His most recent visit takes him out to the "Plains" for Auburn's game against Ball State this weekend.
It's not hard to see why so many teams are still in contact with the blue-chip, 6'5", 300-pound defensive tackle. His overall length in combination with his power makes him and incredibly dangerous weapon on the interior defensive line. He's exactly the type of player that Auburn DL Coach Vontrell King-Williams likes to have inside, and if Wells is able to be strong and stick with his Texas commitment through the weekend, it'll basically mean that he's locked in with the Longhorns going forward.
