Tom Herman and his staff are back to recruiting the Houston-area for skilled defensive backs that fit their scheme, as the Texas Longhorns have extended an offer to 2020 Shadow Creek safety Xavion Alford, he announced Tuesday evening on Twitter.
Things have been extremely busy for Alford on the recruiting trail in the last few months, as he’s been one of the hottest prospects in the state. Alford has racked up 29 offers thus far from schools like Arkansas, Colorado, Houston, LSU, Michigan, Oklahoma State, Penn State, TCU, Texas A&M, and Washington.
Alford is now the fourth safety the Longhorns have offered in this 2020 cycle.
