University of Texas rising junior quarterback Sam Ehlinger has been appointed to represent the Big 12 Conference on the NCAA DI Football Oversight Committee's newly created Student-Athlete Connection Group. The group's purpose is to allow student-athletes increased opportunities to gather feedback from DI football student-athletes on issues the Football Oversight Committee is reviewing. Ehlinger is one of two student-athletes from the conference appointed.
"I'm honored to be selected by the Big 12 Conference to serve on this very important student-athlete committee," Ehlinger said. "There are many important issues that are reviewed each year by the Football Oversight Committee and I look forward to being able to be a voice for my teammates and fellow Big 12 Conference opponents in helping the Committee address these issues.
