AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Football senior QB Sam Ehlinger was named to the 2020 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team on Wednesday. Ehlinger is the 11th Longhorn to receive the honor dating back to Robert Reed in 1994 with the most recent being Chase Moore in 2018. Tony Brackens (1995), Tyson King (1996), Ricky Williams (1998), Vince Young (2005), Colt McCoy (2008), Sam Acho (2010), Emmanuel Acho (2011) and Nate Boyer (2014) have also been honored.
Ehlinger, an Austin native, undertook his largest community project to date with his efforts to help in COVID-19 relief earlier this year.
