FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. – Texas Football senior quarterback Sam Ehlinger was named a finalist for the Wuerffel Trophy on Tuesday. He is the first Longhorn to be named a finalist for college football's top community service award since Sam Acho, who won the award, in 2010.
Ehlinger, an Austin native, has completed 184-of-306 passes (60.1%) for 2,406 yards and 25 touchdowns to five interceptions this season.
