NEW ORLEANS, La. - Texas Longhorn quarterback Sam Ehlinger was added to the watch list for the 2018 Manning Award on Thursday. The award is sponsored by the Allstate Sugar Bowl. Finalists will be announced on Thursday, Nov. 29 and the winner is scheduled to be announced following the College Football Player National Championship.
Ehlinger has stood out for the Longhorns so far this season. He has passed for 1,534 yards and 11 touchdowns to just two interceptions. He has attempted 168 consecutive passes without throwing an interception, the longest streak in school history.
