AUSTIN, Texas – Texas senior WR Devin Duvernay was named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week and true freshman QB/RB Roschon Johnson was named the Big 12 Newcomer of the Week, the league announced Monday. It is the second time this season Duvernay has been named the league's top offensive performer, and the second time Johnson has been recognized as the league's top newcomer.
Duvernay, a native of Sachse, Texas, made six catches for a career-high 199 yards and one touchdown, along with pulling in a two-point conversion, in the Longhorns' regular-season finale against Texas Tech on Friday.
