Following Texas' brutal loss in Athens this weekend, Arch had a few things to say regarding how the team played against the Bulldogs. Whether it was intentional or not, he declined to give any form of credit to Georgia's defense, which played pretty well throughout the entire night.
Shortly after the game in his media presser, Manning was asked if Georgia's defense was intimidating during the game. He responded with:
“We just didn’t play well.”
Though he may not have been in the right state of mind to give props to UGA's defense at that point due to being pretty bummed out, some members of the college football world have taken his response as a slight to the Bulldogs.
