Will Texas Tech basketball take a step forward or back next season?
Carlton: Well, it will be kind of hard for Texas Tech to take a step forward next season, short of winning the Big 12 or advancing to the Final Four. Tech does lose an impactful senior class (including Keenan Evans). And the decision by Zhaire Smith to enter the NBA draft, while not unexpected, is still a hit losing a special talent.
