Colt McCoy is gearing up for a potential starting role with the Washington Redskins NFL team this season. (That depends on how things go with Kirk Cousins.)
In the meantime, McCoy returned to Austin for his annual Colt McCoy Football ProCamp to talk about the Longhorns.
He likes what he sees.
It’s not only Tom Herman taking over and installing a new system.
McCoy also likes the QBs: sophomore Shane Buechele and freshman Sam Ehlinger.
There’s plenty of history there, too. According to the Austin American-Statesman covering the camp, once upon a time, Ehlinger was in McCoy’s youth camp.
