AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Women's Basketball junior forward/center Charli Collier was named to the John R. Wooden Award presented by Wendy's Last Season Top 20 Watch List, the Los Angeles Athletic Club announced Monday. Collier is one of four Big 12 student-athletes to be featured on the list for college basketball's top honor.
Collier, a Mont Belvieu, Texas native, is averaging 21.4 points and 12.9 rebounds per game in 16 starts this season. She has logged 12 double-doubles, the most of any Division I player, and has scored 20-plus points on 10 different occasions.
