AUSTIN, Texas – No. 1 Texas Volleyball saw sophomore Brionne Butler earn Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week and freshman Skylar Fields earn Big 12 Rookie of the Week for their performances in wins over No. 1 Baylor and Kansas.
Butler was unstoppable in the Longhorns' sweep of No. 1 Texas, putting down 12 kills, while hitting .500 with eight blocks to average 5.5 points per set. The middle blocker finished the week with 2.67 kills per set, hitting .367 with a league-high 2.5 blocks per set, totaling 15 blocks over six sets.
