Burton, Piperi win to close 91st Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays Built By The Home Depot

AUSTIN, Texas – Saturday marked the conclusion of the 91st Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays Built By The Home Depot and a pair of Texas Longhorns made statements with victories in their events.

Sophomore Rushelle Burton returned to form in the 100 meter hurdles and she rolled to a win in 12.64 seconds. Her time was wind-aided and ranks as the No. 3 time in school history under all conditions.

"I was pretty satisfied. We had some ups and downs but we had some real bright spots today for example with Rushelle Burton running a personal best," Interim Head Coach Tonja Buford-Bailey said.
