Indianapolis, Ind. - University of Texas diver Murphy Bromberg won a national title in platform synchro at the 2019 USA Diving Nationals on Monday afternoon at the IU Natorium. Bromberg joined 2016 Olympian Katrina Young to take the event with 294.42 points, earning a ticket to the 2019 FINA World Championships held in Gwangju, South Korea from July 12-28. The pair recorded a round average of 58.99 points, throwing their best rounds of the afternoon on their final two dives. On their fourth dive they threw a 407C (67.20 points) and then a 5253B in the final round worth 69.
