Breaking down Texas’ 2018 recruiting class: The best player, dark horse and our class grade

Head of the class

BJ Foster –After spending his high school years at both running back and safety for Angleton, Foster is the most talented secondary prospect in the state of Texas. He sports elite skills in coverage, with the ability to cover ground in a flash.

But where Foster truly shines is near the line of scrimmage. Foster is a thumper of the highest quality, ready to dish-out contact on opposing backfields. He’ll have the chance to replace NFL-bound safety DeShon Elliott from day one.

Texas signee B.J. Foster was out there wrecking shop in the UA All-American Game.
