One of Texas Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian’s top goals is to beat the Oklahoma Sooners, a feat his predecessor Tom Herman only accomplished once in four seasons.
“The idea for us now moving forward is not to get stuck staring at that, but focus on today because today is the most important day for us if we want to go achieve those goals,” Sarkisian said in an interview on The Horn, according to a report in 247Sports. “Through it all, it’s a heck of a rivalry and I’m so pumped to be part of it, but I can’t worry about that game right now.
