Not only did the Texas men’s basketball team roll over the Texas A&M Aggies in their first meeting since 2015, we also learned of the Longhorns’ bowl destination in the postseason – the renowned Valero Alamo Bowl in San Antonio. The 7-5 Longhorns will face off against the No. 12 Utah Utes (11-2), a top-five team prior to the PAC-12 Conference championship game over the weekend, in which Oregon upset Utah. The last (and only) time the Longhorns and Utes met on the gridiron was in 1982, when Texas bested Utah 21-12. The Utes will enter the New Year’s Eve game as 6.
