AUSTIN, Texas — Texas Head Men's Basketball Coach Chris Beard announced his three assistant coaches, Managing Director and Special Assistant to the Head Coach on Thursday. Among the five positions officially announced today, the staff has a combined 97 years of coaching experience who have coached in 37 NCAA Tournaments and developed 42 NBA Draft picks.
The five-person staff has made a total of 13 NCAA Sweet 16, nine Elite Eight and two Final Four appearances. The group also has extensive experience in the state of Texas as well as the Big 12 Conference, including two staffers who have a combined 21 years of experience working for Texas Basketball.
