LONG BEACH, Calif. – Texas Beach Volleyball picked up its first win of the Stein Metzger era, taking down Nebraska 3-2 on Saturday in the LBSU Tournament at Long Beach City College.
After coming up just short of the first win of the season against CSUN on Friday, the Longhorns took down the Cornhuskers in their first match on Saturday. Texas also came up just short of beating No. 11 Arizona State in Saturday's finale.
Against Nebraska on Court No. 1, Emma Grace Robertson and Ava Patton gave Texas an early lead.
