Texas' big win over third-ranked Oklahoma is already paying off. The Longhorns moved up three spots in this week's USA Today Coaches Poll to No. 22.
The Longhorns took down Oklahoma 76-63 at home Saturday.
Texas A&M also saw a three-spot rise in the poll this week to No. 18. The Aggies took care of business against Mississippi State (68-66) and Missouri (84-69).
Baylor fell one spot to No. 17 after falling to Kansas, the new No. 1 team, 66-60 and beating TCU 86-71.
Oklahoma fell to No. 6 from No. 4 after beating Oklahoma State handily but then losing to the Longhorns.
