AUSTIN, Texas – Freshman infielder Dee Kennedy hit a 10th inning walk-off single to give Texas Baseball a 6-5 win over Air Force on Tuesday at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.
The Longhorns (11-8) trailed 5-3 in the ninth inning before Jalin Flores hit a two-run homer to left field to tie the game up 5-5 and send it into extra-innings. Flores finished 3-for-5 with a homer, two RBI and one run scored.
Texas and Air Force will square off again on Tuesday at 4 p.m. at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.
In the bottom of the 10th inning, Porter Brown walked and Max Belyeu was hit by a pitch to put two runners on base.
