Baseball beats No. 18 Oklahoma 8-6

NORMAN, Okla. – Texas Baseball picked up an 8-6 win over No. 18 Oklahoma to even the series in the first game of a doubleheader on Sunday at L. Dale Mitchell Park.

The Longhorns (26-18, 12-8) will go for the series sweep in the second game of the doubleheader at 5:30 p.m.

Jalin Flores went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI doubles, while Kimble Schuessler and Will Gasparino both hit solo home runs.

Chase Lummus had a clutch relief outing, pitching 3 2/3 innings and allowing just one run on three hits to pick up the win.
