AUSTIN, Texas — For the 38th time in program history, the University of Texas has been selected as one of 16 Regional host sites for the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship.
Following its best regular season in 15 years, Texas (42-12) will be making its 64th postseason appearance when play at the Austin Regional begins Friday, May 30 at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.
The Longhorns are 155-59-1 (.723) all-time in Regional contests, including an 87-22 (.798) ledger in Austin.
Texas is one of eight SEC schools to host the Regional Round, joining Arkansas, Auburn, Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Vanderbilt.
