NEW ORLEANS – Texas Track and Field sophomore Julien Alfred was named to The Bowerman's 2020 Women's Watch List, the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced Wednesday.
Wednesday marks Alfred's first appearance on the watch list for Track and Field's top collegiate honor. She is the seventh woman in school history – and third Longhorn under head coach Edrick Floréal - to appear on The Bowerman's watch list, joining Teahna Daniels (2019), Destinee Hooker (2009 finalist), Courtney Okolo (2014 finalist, 2016 winner), Kaitlin Petrillose (2015), Ashley Spencer (2014) and Ashtin Zamzow (2019 semifinalist).
