AUSTIN -- Texas coach Tom Herman let out a revelation as he arrived at the podium inside Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium on Monday for his weekly press conference.
"The sun came up today, as it did yesterday," Herman said with a grin.
The Longhorns (6-2, 4-1 Big 12) dropped from No. 6 to No. 15 in the AP poll after Saturday night's 38-35 loss to Oklahoma State in Stillwater. Texas now prepares for this Saturday's home showdown against No. 12 West Virginia (6-1, 4-1 Big 12). Kickoff is at 2:30 p.m.
