Defense finally has big game
Texas’ defense has been under the microscope all season.
The Longhorns rank last in the Big 12 in scoring defense and entered the game coming off a 672-yard defensive outing against Oklahoma.
But head coach Charlie Strong’s defense finally showed some life against the Cyclones on Saturday, Texas surrendered just six points and 182 passing yards in the victory.
The burnt orange also flashed the ability to make big plays.
