A key spot for the 2021 Texas football recruiting class to really hit on is the wide receiver position. But Texas hasn’t found a whole lot of luck on the recruiting trail for the 2021 cycle to date at the wide receiver position. They also didn’t round out the 2020 recruiting cycle in great fashion at this position. Just ahead of the first day of the Early Signing Period last year, the Longhorns lost the commitment of four-star Temple wide receiver Quentin Johnston to the Big 12 foe TCU Horned Frogs.
