A key Texas Longhorns target is taking his talents to South Bend, as Mission Hills (Calif.) Bishop Alemany product Niuafe Tuihalamaka has announced his commitment to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
A one-time USC pledge, Tuihalamaka announced his pledge to the Irish over a final group that included Arizona State, Stanford, Oregon, and of course, Texas.
The Longhorns kicked the month off very much in the mix, with Tuihalamaka officially visiting the Forty Acres, and Texas certainly didn’t do anything to hurt its odds during his time in Austin.
“I loved it there,” Tuihalamaka told 247Sports of Texas.
