After camping with Tom Herman’s program several days ago on July 27 and heading home with an offer in hand, Columbus (Oh.) St. Francis De Sales defensive tackle Rodas Johnson named the Texas Longhorns in his top six on Monday.
Wisconsin, Penn State, Duke, Michigan, and Oklahoma each survived the cut as well.
21 other programs have extended scholarship invitations to the four-star interior presence as well, including Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan State, Notre Dame, and West Virginia.
Given how the 2019 class has played out, the news that Johnson has Texas as a top team is considerable.
