3-star Georgia OT Seth McLaughlin notches Texas offer

The Texas Longhorns have once again circled back to Buford (Ga.).

On Monday, coveted 2020 offensive tackle Seth McLaughlin became the latest prospect from the Georgia powerhouse to add an offer from Tom Herman’s program.

An ideal example of a talent whose ranking doesn’t reflect his recruitment, McLaughlin is dubbed as the nation’s No. 819 player and 87 offensive tackle, according to 247Sports, yet his Texas offer becomes his 19th with the Horns joining Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Auburn, LSU, Michigan, and Oklahoma as team’s interested in his services.

A 6’4, 270-pound prospect from the same high school program that produced four-star Longhorns running back signee Derrian Brown, McLaughlin now joins three-star Arizona State athlete pledge T Lee as 2020 Buford products to notch a Texas offer.
