The Longhorns were named a finalist for another in-state defender this evening, as things continue to heat up for Steve Sarkisian and his staff on the recruiting trail.
Missouri City (TX) Fort Bend Marshall three star cornerback Caleb Chester announced that he has narrowed his recruitment down to five finalists. Texas made the cut for Chester along with several other familiar regional opponents that the Longhorns have lined up with over the years.

Along with the Longhorns, Chester named Arkansas, LSU, TCU, and Texas A&M as his other finalists in his recruitment.
