Texas tight end recruiting is moving in Juan positive direction. Everman athlete Juan Davis committed to the Longhorns, giving the Horns yet another big TE recruit (joining 2021 classmate Lake McRee) and complementing two takes from the 2019 class (Wiley, Liebrock).

Davis is a big-framed flex TE who has already drawn comparisons to LJH. Looking past the dreads, those comparisons are odd given that LJH was a rail thin high school senior athlete who grew into a 6-3, 215 wide receiver at Texas while Davis is already 6-3, 220 as an incoming high school junior.
