Texas Football has a long, storied history of great kickers with clutch moments. The royalty list includes Justin Tucker, Phil Dawson, Dusty Mangum, Hunter Lawrence, or even further back to Russell Erxleben.
Now, Texas can add the greatest kicker nickname ever to that list. This week, Texas received a commitment from junior kicker Cameron Dicker for the 2018 Texas Football recruiting class.
Texas has indeed signed Dicker the Kicker.
Or, perhaps you prefer 1980s pro wrestling nicknames. Cameron “the Kicker” Dicker has committed to Texas Football.
Either way, this sets a new standard for nicknames in college sports.
