The winding recruitment of Fort Worth Nolan Catholic kicker Jon Coppens apparently came to an end on Tuesday evening when he announced that he will be playing football for the Texas Longhorns:

A consensus two-star prospect ranked as the No. 16 kicker nationally, Coppens originally planned to walk on at Wyoming, committing to the Cowboys last December.
