Pro Football Hall of Fame safety Yale Lary - one of Texas A&M's greatest NFL alums- died Friday morning at 86, the Hall announced.

Lary made the Hall in 1989 after playing 11 years with the Detroit Lions, from 1952-53 and 1956-64. He served in the U.S. Army between the two stints, making Pro Bowls both before and after his leave.
