I don't remember the last time Texas A&M ran a fake punt, but however long ago that was, the clock just reset.
In the middle of the third quarter in Texas A&M's game against the Missouri Tigers, Mizzou had just scored their first touchdown of the day to pull within 14, thanks to a huge kick return that set them up at midfield. With a little bit of momentum coming back into the stadium, the ferocious Missouri defense finally forced a three-and-out, and the Aggies lined up in punt formation.
With the Missouri fans celebrating a stop and hoping for a shot at a comeback, Mike Elko decided it was time to go for the jugular.
