Ole Miss currently is in hot water with the NCAA, and unfortunately for the SEC, its member schools are well-acquainted with NCAA investigators.
All 14 of the league’s programs have committed what the NCAA has termed “major’ violations, though some are more egregious — far, far more egregious — than others. And while Vanderbilt has been put on probation for a major infraction, it involved women’s basketball and pales in comparison to what has been done by almost every single one of its conference brethren.
Here, then, is a look at the most scandalous situations involving each SEC school; worth noting is that the situations involving Missouri, South Carolina and Texas A&M came before those schools joined the league.
